Safety in the swimming pool
In addition to the badges, we want the children to feel safe in the water and to prepare them as best as possible so that they are not in any danger in the water. Our swimming courses are currently taking place without any corona restrictions. In the changing area and the rest of the buildings, masks are compulsory for people aged six and over
Lessons for children
Our swimming lessons are a lively mix of learning, games and fun. We work with a maximum of ten children, who are supervised by two swimming instructors . We value small groups and good supervision. Individual lessons are available on request!

The safety of the children is our top priority, which is why we have two instructors during the lessons. There are a maximum of ten participants in the water. In this way we ensure that all children are looked after at all times.
Various swimming pools
We are currently represented in 40 swimming pools throughout Germany. These are located in: Hamburg , Saarland , North Rhine-Westphalia , Baden-Württemberg , Rhineland-Palatinate , Saxony , Berlin , Bavaria and Hesse .

Since many families are on holiday during the school holidays, our courses always last eight weeks and usually take place outside of the holidays.

Impressions from our swimming lessons
Our swimming lessons are a lively mix of learning, play and fun. At the heart of what we do is always the children’s laughter and joy. We firmly believe that children learn best when they are having fun and that is why our approach is playful and interactive.
Our courses are designed to help children learn and improve their swimming skills in a natural and fun way. We use a variety of games and activities to motivate children and teach them the different swimming techniques, paying particular attention to each child’s individual abilities and pace.
Our swimming instructors all have a DLRG rescue certificate and are passionate about swimming and working with children. They specialize in teaching children to swim in a fun way and helping them improve their skills.
FAQ
How long does a swimming course last and how many participants are in the water?
A swimming course lasts 45 minutes per lesson and takes place once a week, with a complete course comprising eight lessons.
There are about ten participants and two swimming instructors in the water at all times.
What do I need to bring to the swimming course?
- Must: Swimsuit / swimming trunks, towel / bathrobe
- Can: bathing shoes, shampoo, swimming goggles
- All material such as swimming aids or swimming goggles are provided
What do the accompanying persons do during the swimming course?
Once participants have been handed over to the teaching staff, the accompanying persons have various options for using their time. For example, they can:
- Spectating: Please note that this must be done outside the swimming pool, if the location allows it.
- Use the cafeteria: Take the opportunity to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a snack.
Since we hold many of our swimming courses exclusively in schools, hotels or clinics, we ask you to follow the rules that apply there.
Important: Parents are not allowed in the swimming pool during the courses! We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for all participants.
Does the participant receive a badge at the end of the course?
Our course system is structured according to the German youth swimming badges.
Each participant receives a badge after completing a full course. This also applies if the achievements for certain badges (such as Seahorse, Free Swimmer, Silver, Gold) have not been met. In such cases, we award alternative badges that correspond to the participant’s respective performance level.
To ensure fairness, badges are always awarded in the last hour of the course, even if the achievements for a particular badge have already been met beforehand. We believe this practice helps to create a positive and motivating learning environment for all participants.
We are on vacation or the child is sick, can the lesson be made up?
Yes, one lesson can be made up during the current course (after prior cancellation: at least 3 hours before the course starts).
Do the swimming lessons take place during school holidays?
The courses usually take place during school time, but we also offer intensive courses during the holidays, for which you can register here
What happens if the course is postponed or interrupted due to Corona?
If a course in progress is interrupted, we offer you the option of cancelling it free of charge. However, we will charge you pro rata for the hours that have already taken place. However, you can also simply finish the course after the interruption.
